Yes, making a list for EP’s separate from LP’s in 2010 is necessary. This was totally the year for tons of artists to make some excellent short listening experiences.

WARNING: Most of these will make you want to get up off that thing and shake what you know best.

Twin Sister - ‘All Around & Away We Go’

YES! A video for this amazing song and an amazing video for this song. This couldn’t be any more what I thought it should look like.

Here is an alternative vision for this song. One that came to my mind after watching this music video …. 

‘All Around And Away We Go’ is as if the character Napoleon Dynamite and Helen Hunt in Girls Just Want To Have Fun met at a sock-hop and there they mutually bonded over Paula Abdul’s hand and leg movements in her Straight Up music video. So Napoleon took Helen first onto the dance floor with the big disco ball above their heads. Then Napoleon took Helen to DJ and Stephanie Tanner’s bedroom and pressed play on the tape deck, in which he had previously recorded Tears For Fears, but in slow motion to set the mood. After they were done making out they went to their local burger joint and after ordering 1 milkshake for 2, they reclined on the hood of a beat up car rented from a dude with a big mustache, specifically so the evening could be young and romantic and the couple could gaze at the evening stars. It didn’t matter that Helen Hunt had on a padded bra that evening, because the character Napoleon still got to go to school the next day telling all his friends he touched boobies the night before.
